The first letters of the type corner and corner-bi were developed for a Web-Site named "Typo Ecke". Already at this time, I had the idea for a bi-colored type. The basic idea was to form a "normal" letter into a colored corner and a the black rest of the letter. Because of this, the type-family is named corner.
From the first letters I developed two different types.
The type corner-mono-color is the one-colored version oft the type-family corner. It contains also a lot of special symbols, like % @ © ( ) ...
The type corner-bi-color ist the two-colored version of the typefamiliy. By this type on the small letters and on the numbers lies the colored corners and on the big letters and the special symbols lies the rest-letters. A two-colored type-effect is possible by creating different levels.
At this type I worked since the beginnig of the year. And the next ideas for types will come soon!

fontomas is formerly known as eyesaw - the site is still available, but it'll rest in peace.
like we did for over 2 years now fontomas offers typographic experiments, downloadable for free.
envolved in the process of generating fonts are designers from the uk, the netherlands, sweden, italy, usa and germany.
there will be one font presented and downloadable for only one week (updates on wednesdays not mondays!) and then it disappears - no archive.
be there or be square (there'll be a cd-rom at the end of the first fontomas - year, just in time for xmas 2001.).
